I currently volunteer with Open Heart Magic, performing at a children's hospital just outside Chicago. When I'm not bringing smiles to young patients and their families, I'm a high school football official. After my kids left for college, I missed having teenagers look at me like I was an idiot - officiating definitely fills that void! The bonus is that if I ever decide to perform professionally, I'll already be well-versed in handling hecklers.
