Hi. I’m Randy Pitchford and am best known for being the husband of Kristy Pitchford, who is way out of my league.

I’ve been doing magic long enough to know better, and, as my closest friends remind me, am not a comedy magician. I am deeply committed to the idea that every routine can be improved through a lengthy explanation of why it used to be worse.

I love pretending that I’m doing comedy magic because it allows me to fail in public while calling it “experimentation.” Over the years, I’ve accumulated a vast archive “this will kill once I fix it” routines that absolutely will not. I believe strongly in structure, clarity, and economy—mostly as abstract concepts I admire in other people’s acts.

I’m thrilled to spend time with people who actually understand comedy magic and aspire to learn how to consistently create material that will be shamelessly stolen - like a pro.
